This starcity was made for a skybox. I was fond of the pioneers of 20-s, the trend which appeared in the ex-USSR in Stalin's time and was persecuted in the time of totalitarianism.

Well, you shouldn't put a url to a site in img tags ;) Either link the image or just post the link. For those interested:

Anyway, it's really hard to make out something in the picture. I think you should give your city an easier to understand shape. If you didn't say, that it is a city, I wouldn't have guessed it.
Did you use greeble for those details?
I like the background, esp the planet.

Yes, sure I used greeble. This was made in about two weeks for an all-round view of arena. It's one part of this background and maybe it's one of the best parts of it. I made it about two years ago in these two years I learned a lot. This link will show you to another background made for another project in the same style. I loved the space themes all my life so I want to show my works on it and to get critique. The only thing is that the picture is too big (about 200KB). I'm sorry I can't make it smaller as watching it smaller makes no sense.
Thank you very much for your advice.

that is a very interesting picture. The city layout is hard to understand from a economical and usability standard, but it sure looks interesting.
Oh,I can't see the pic.
Sorry.
