Electronic Arts (EA) is the world’s leading independent developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for personal computer and advanced entertainment systems such as the PlayStation®2 Computer Entertainment System, the PlayStation®, Xbox™ video game console from Microsoft, the Nintendo GameCube™ and the Game Boy® Advance.

Combining diverse media such as video, photographic images, motion capture, 3D face and body rendering technologies, computer graphics, and stereo sound with contributions from storywriters, film directors and musicians, EA uses technology and creativity to create mainstream entertainment through an interactive medium.

Currently, we have a few open positions ideal for motivated and creative individuals that want to join one of our teams in the role of an Art Director. This individual will be art directing for one of our games located in our studios in Vancouver, Redwood City or Walnut Creek.

The person taking on this role, will be expanding their career by tackling greater technical challenges and expanded job responsibility. A requirement for this position is that the candidates have solid experience from the games or film industry (no print or graphic design art directors, please). They will work with our talented art and programming staff to push the boundaries of computer graphic quality and technology.

The appropriate candidate is or has been in a Senior Art Lead or Art Director role and has a deep understanding of several 3D and 2D graphic software packages. Their experience will include responsibility for creating and executing art development plans, scheduling and monitoring art deliverables, and mentoring junior staff. In joining our team, he/she will need to demonstrate solid communication and problem solving abilities, as well as an eye for detail and an appreciation of time management skills. An advanced understanding of motion principles and/or technical training in areas such as computer science or classical animation is highly desireable.

Qualified candidates should send portfolio's and reels(VHS - NTSC) to:
