Title: Ferrari Enzo
Name: Maurice de Koning
Country: Netherlands
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
This is my Ferrari Enzo. It's the first car I made, and basically learned everything while doing so. It took me about 2 years, but I wasn't working on it all the time, sometimes even pausing 4-5 months while doing other business.
If anyone is interested, I can post all the wip pics of it, also showing how I was figuring out reflections and stuff..
Be gentle. :P
ps. Yes I know there have been a crapload of Enzo renders, but I didn't know that when I submitted this the first time :p

Very nice. Great modeling and materials, there's really very little to crit. You might have tried a more interesting environment than a simple studio render though! An interior would be great too :).

Clean and realistic render but there are some forgotten things
like brakes, wiper, plastics between car and glass and you should do interior.. great modeling but i think you can do better..
good luck

oh right! totall forgot the wiper !
You're right about the details indeed, I might add them some time later when i feel like working on it again ;) Also, the taillights were really difficult to figure out, so i kept these "replacement" things... i'll probably make a better light on my next project :D

as mentioned above, the rear lights. the noise on them really makes them stand out.
secondly there are several bumps on the windscreen, but there seems to be something about the width and height of the centre cabin, it appears to be a little smaller then usual, but the top of the windscreen where the body starts again seems to be higher then usual,

otherwise, pretty good :D
Nice model man, though keep in mind that the believability of a car really improves by modeling an interior. Even though its simple. And there are some details you overlooked like the vent holes next to each side of the rear window. Also don't crop the images that much. It creates tension between the different renders.

Hmm.. looks like you're right.. I always thought there was something odd about it, but couldn't place my finger on it.. now i can :p

Thanks :D I originally wanted to do the interior, but when i saw the pictures of it, i was a bit daunted by the detail.. so i kinda "skipped" it. And i cropped the images like that, because i wanted it to fit in the max 1600px limit, but also showing all the sides of the car. Next time i'll just render more creatively, and make a bit of a scene around it... :lightbulb
