Arch. Rendering of a Beer Distribution Facility.
Used Lightwave 7.0 and took about 5 days to complete.
Any suggestions for improving lighting or other aspects
of the image are appreciated!

not bad.

i think your ambient light has too much intensity. in real life the shadow side of buildings is much darker but still legible. the objects on the shadow side of the building should be much darker (grass, truck, etc).

also, lower the diffuse of your materials. materials shouldnt have 100% diffuse. in lightwave you can make your materials have something like 50-60% diffuse and increase your sun intensity to 175%-200%. it'll seem strange but it works well. you could also give your stone material about 10% diffuse sharpness. it gives it a little added real life contrast.

alright. those are my comments. let me know if any of this is helpful. keep up the good work.

I do have 60-70% on all the surfaces and ambiant light set to 0%.. I'll try dropping down some of my fill lights to add more contrast and also diffuse sharpness... That's something I haven;t tried ! Thanks!

yes, it does look a bit blow out. Otherwise the basic modeling is ok, the textures/lights could be improved.
