Hello everyone. I am working on a desert scene. The floor of the desert is a giant flat plane with a crumple type material applied.
When I move the camera slowly over the desert plane the area near the horizon does this dancing, scintillating effect. It would look cool if it looked like a mirage effect, but now it looks like billions of angry bees buzzing on the horizon.
Does anyonw know how to avoid this? I was trying to use fog but it keeps occluding my background rotoscope image.
Any ideas?
