I used both Maya and Photoshop to texture this scene of a paintbucket. Though the bucket looks dirty, the water inside is reasonably clean. The brushes inside have clearly been worn by years of use and neglect. I wanted to show something interesting with the water ripples in this scene to draw the eye into the center of the image, then let it branch out and wander through the colorful surroundings of this artists setup.
