View Full Version : INSTALING CPS TOOL FOR MAYA 8 ON A iMAC

I'm running Maya 8 on a iMAC and i'm wondering how to install custom mel like the cps tool. i used to be a PC user and i can't seem to find the maya scripts,icon and prefs folder.
Any help will be greatly welcome as i'm trying to start on my first model using this wonderful machine.

Well after using the finder (mac talk) I looked up the "prefs" folder and I found the pathway.

>user name>Library>Prefrences>Alias>maya>8.0>prefs

If this helps anybody I'm glad I posted this.
Everything I wanted to do is done now.
