View Full Version : Animating in Painter - Onion skin question

Hi folks,
I recently made the jump to Painter and I've been interested in animating with it.
I noticed that the onion skin acts strange on my machine (1.67 Ghz powerbook, 2 gigs ram).
With Tracing Paper On, the previous frame drops in opacity (good) but the current frame also drops in opacity! The only place where the current frame has the correct value is where it overlaps with part of the previous frame. It's almost as if the tracing paper is using Multiply or Gel as a composite method... Instead of just ghosting the earlier frame.
Anyone else notice this, or is it just me? Or have I just missed that tidbit of customizing knowledge somewhere in TFM?
Thanks for any ideas!
