Is there a common way to fake some simple hair-blowing-in-the-wind movement without having access to Maya Hair, Fur etc? Thinking lattices and softbodies is the only way, if not putting bones in the geometry & keying it? I don't want some chunky dreadlocks happening if I can help it...

For five hudnred you can get Joe alter's "Shave and a Haircut" and it will blow away Mayas hair and fur.
