Brothers don't know squat. That's why you're here. :)

You would be surprised how much better it will look if you were to just lower the ear. (And that's a mighty fine ear for a beginner, let me tell you!)

Look online for standards when creating heads and bodies. It will give you good reference for future projects.

Go here (http://fineart.sk) and check out some references.

Don't give up. Just keep studying and learning. It can be frustrating, but if it were easy, you'd get bored, right?

PS: Your first head is better than my first head was. Don't stop.

Jeez... Little brother's are sooo touchy. Chris, I never said it sucked. I said it was a great first effort. I also said your control mesh design was really nice, but your anatomy is atrocious. If you make some tweaks you can improve it immensely.

I guarantee if you start over and do it again it'll look 10x better. Practice makes perfect! Now get back to work and stop bad-mouthing me.

thanks bob. I spent few hours last night on the eyes thanks to a reference photo from webfox's link. Nose is coming along too...

Anyone have any coments on the anatomy? I think it's fine. the detail in the nose is still off, thats all I can see.

cheep render.. I can't afford an expensive one right now.

Could you upload a profile and front-on shot, please? That way I can draw over it to explain where you might want to make changes. These images need not be large.

Also, please, back the camera off from your head. The distortion is throwing features out of proportion and it's hard to see it as it would be shown in a regular shot.

Thanks.
