How new is VERY new? It looks good. Let's see a textured view.

the modeling is fine, now it needs textures

Although, I wouldn't want to be sitting on that couch under the stairs, it looks like they would hit their head on the steps. Maby switch the locations of the two couches so the shorter one is under the steps near the wall.

The design is interesting as well. You don't see many houses like that here.

well whatever its the modelling that matters.. of course it should look realistic but the ppl living there might not be that good at putting furniture in the right place

Where is the TV? :)

It looks good, but like other said, lets see it with some textures, it hard to get a good sence of the lighting without textures.

Actually i dont know about you, but i think its easier to make the correct lighting w/ out textures first. I think he has the right idea of making everythign one color, then doing the lighting, then doing the textures. At least that how i do it and i belive it makes it alot easier.

Little tip though, for almost architectural renderings, you should go with some kind og GI (Global illumination) package. It makes them look a whole lot beter. But all in all, nice room.
