I appologize if this post breaks any forum rules since it involves a outside link, but CGtalk is a great community and the few of us that started AF a few years ago actually met over here on CGtalk. We are big supporters of this forum.

Nice track, and as a 2D animator, any challenge seems good but...am I missing something?

Or are the prizes for producing 36 seconds of animation 1 book and 1 DVD??? 0_o

Yeah the 1st place prize are 1 dvd and 1 book. The complimentary prizes are the Iron Giant Figurines. But we're not expecting anythign of Disney material for this contest. Just some fun and interesting dance moves. No fancy characters required.

Last months we gave away a Graphire4 Wacom tablet but that contest took 60 days. This one is half the time and with everyone busy with the holidays, we are not expecting a huge turn out.

Hopefully , in our first contest of 07, we'll be able to give away a copy of Toonboom Studio. We're hard at work on it.

Anyhow, I hope that clears it up a little.
