View Full Version : how can i import MXF file to AE?
Dear all
I have some HD files with this extension MXF and I can import in preimere pro 2.0 after I install main concept plugins.
But I need to import MXF to After effect or digital fusion? please can anyone tel me..how?

To my knowledge, AE doesn't handle MXF since it can't separate the multiplexed streams and the meta data. Use other things such as Quicktime References or export an uncompressed clip from Premiere.

You could also try Aspect HD by CineForm. (http://www.cineform.com/products/AspectHDPPro.htm)It' not a real DVCPro-HD Workflow, but good to handle, - not as much data as uncompressed.
