Title: Ferrari Enzo
Name: David Wolstenholme
Country: United Kingdom
Software: 3ds max, Brazil r/s

This was done about a year ago but since I have only recently joined cgtalk I thought I would upload it.

Im still fairly pleased with it which is very unusual because Im not usually pleased with a piece of work just 3 months down the line.

This model is not an exact replica more like my own version but very similar. All box modelled (obv wheels arent though)

All criticisms and comments would be appreciated.

Honestly, if it's a modified version i have to say the original one looks much better. This one looks like somebody wrecked it with a sledgehammer. Another problem is the lack of an environment and the somehow boring lighting setup.

Its a nice piece i think everybody is entitled to their own opinion but fair enough third eye.

Good work i say.

i really hope that you dont consider this a modified enzo.

you need to look at modeling techniques and automotive modeling techniques / hard body. the area around the rear fenders and roof line where it has poorly deformed, or you forgot to smooth it.

re-model the cockpit of the car. and look at the modeling techniques. this is far from finished.

Its not a modified version as such, I should have explained it better really I have basically not stuck to the blueprints of the model and strayed off in areas.

I had a look at your gallery (third eye) and I can see your a very good artist and by the looks of it passionate about your Italian cars.

All comments are welcome though I am always willing to improve!

I have to agree with the others on here who have said it's not really finished.

To be honest, it looks more like you got lazy and didn't feel like trying to make it accurate than you just tried to make your own version.

Well most of you have said its not finished and that is fine by me!

Its the real reason I come on cgtalk anyway to improve and to be inspired so thats great.

I may do this again or finish it off as some have said, at the moment Im working on other things, one being the EON comp on here.

Thanks everyone again.

my EON link is here too should anyone like to look. (still in early stages at mo)

Besides all the modelling comments you have to rework the shading.
You need reflections an environment like ThirdEye already said. You need something that defines the shape of the car e.g. "lightplanes",...
