Title: Magic carpet
Name: David Revoy
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

"Magic Carpet" represent perfectly the cover I wanted to buy when I was kid. Colorfull, crazy concepts and costumes with a black "edge" around characters that make the reading of picture easy and clean.
I made this illustration for a future tutorial on my hi-res CMYK cartoon technics for print as I use for my comics. I have still a lot of work on the tutorial cause CMYK rules in this type of work are sometimes complexe to show how to separe blacks for lines and CMY space only for color. Here is a RVB conversion version, click on the pict above to see the 1600 max width picture I originally post.
Thanks to comment if you like or dislike when I draw in this particular style ( I use it too by the past for my Journey Begins entry ).

Very nice style and colours. The characters look awesome. Congrats. I would be very pleased to read that tutorial about CMYK printing, really useful for sure.

Nice, David.
I like your normal way of painting, but this style is pretty awesome too. I love it, and wouldn't mind seeing some more pieces like this.
And the fantasy/magical theme is so cute and imaginative, and I love the design of that creature she is riding on. Fantastic.

I find it amusing that she is riding on a creature and the creature is riding on a magic carpet. She looks a bit too goofy in the face, but it's all nice/cute/well done none the less.
