CGTalk - How do I merge verts?

View Full Version : How do I merge verts?

I've been fooling around with the merge vertices feature for a while but I can't seem to get it working. I select a vert from my arm and then select a vert from the shoulder and i go to edit polygon<merge vertices but the two verts don't merge.

Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong?

increase the Distance parameter in merge option window.

hey, don´t forget to have both parts as one object. it sometimes happens that you just forget that you have 2 objects. In that case you have to Polygon>Combine these objects.
-maybe that´s your problem (cause in component mode, you are not able to recognize more objects sometimes)
