"Taleelayo"
This extraterrestrial litle creature nurtures it self from dead trees by hugging them with itīs tentacles.
And while doing so not only does the tree come back to life, even better, it turns into a imortal, magic tree.

This creature is here on earth, but on another paralel plane,
you will need to get intoxicated with Peyote and guided by the Shaman in order to ever see it.

The shaman calls it "Taleelayo", the acidheads mearly call it "The Gonzo".

Nice work. I like the style and character design.

crit: the character (and the whole image) seems blurry. Did you make it at a small resolution and then enlarge it? The centered character placement and exact, straight on frontal character position isn't visually interesting.

Curious piece and story.

Hey, thanx for your comments, Yes I did start off on a lower res by mistake, but then I did allot of work on the resolution that is now. I did blur out allot of things to make the eyes stand out, but your right... I probably did blur it too much...
And yeah the perspective might not be a verry dynamic composition, allthough I was considering making another painting that shows the story..

That is to say the creature bringing a dead tree back to life, would be a wonderfull immage if I could execute it right like the frame in my mind...

Nice clean eye-popping image. Very luminous!

Good drawing, colour and lighting. The little orange flowers are so lovely floating in all of the green and play off so well against the pinks. Nice work!
