Hello everybody. First of all, excuse my english. I will try that you can understand me.

http://usuarios.lycos.es/jm82/animaciones/archivos/chuela.avi

This is an animation test for my last character: chuela. It's the third (short) animation that I have done.

What do you think about it?

Thanks.

I luuuuve this stylized creature! Nice design! Have you tried these...

1) Try making the eye less realistic (i.e. try without the noise bumping on the specular surface and try without the bloodshot around the sides). The reason for this is to make the design uniform. So far you have a simple toony character but with very realistic eyes (which I think is done very well, which can be used for something else).

2) I will also try to simplify the hands on the wings to one or three (at most) as the design of the character is simple. So you might want to try to keep the overall design consistant.

3) Maybe you want to animate the ears as well (secondary actions). I think it will add to the animation quite a bit.

These are just some suggestions for further character development. I know that it's probably a bit too hard to go back and make these changes now (especially for the 2nd suggestion). By the way, the nose animation is fantasic and very believable.

Keep up with the good work JM82!

Thanks for the comments chepe297!!

Like you say, I can't go back and modidy the hands on the wings, but the comments are welcome.

The animation on the ears will be added as soon I animate this character again (veeeeery soon).

The texture of the eyes will be modify too. Only the bloodshot. I think that the bright of the specular it's funny, are you agree?

Thanks again.

JM82...mmm.... YEP! You've convinced me. After looking at the eyes for a while... it does look kind of cute and quite unique.

Be sure to post further animations of draco JM82. By the way, trust me... your English is fine. :scream:
