In a way, I really like this piece. How long did it take you?
It needs work still, there is a lot of fuzziness around the fish blend with the clouds. But still, its pretty unusual, that makes it good, IMO.

OOoooooOOooooh!! Gigantic flying FISH!! I love it!!
Only problem I'm seeing is that the fish and the landscape below it almost seem like they're two different pieces of work entirely-- there is no relationship to imply WHERE the fish is above the city, close or offshore or what... it's disorienting and makes the thing seem a bit cluttered and awkward. If you cut the picture in half horizontally, the fish looks like it's WAY up in the sky with clouds underneath it-- which would be a fine pic, but with the city below it doesn't fit. My suggestion-- give the background a proper horizon instead of making it so fuzzy below the fish, and maybe put a shadow down somewhere underneath the fish so we know where it is.

I like it alot! it's my new background
I didn't realize it untill Cranium mentioned, but the scale of the fish is a little vague. I thought the fish was above the dock down there, but by the size of the people on his back it's a good deal closer, looks like the same distance as those foreground houses. Like the others said, the blury horizon is distracting.
