This is very cool - I like the Michael Whelan feel of this piece a LOT.

The sky would be nicer (and add a little contrast to the piece) if it were a little blue/green with a tad bit more saturation -- and the sand should be as crisp as the ship (in my opinion) to finish off the Whelan feel -- but all in all this is a very successful piece. I like it a lot :)

Good work, a lot of detail in the ship. The only thing is that I prefet to see some piece of ship burning in the atmosphere.
