View Full Version : Tweaking your skeleton after it has been skinned

Hey,

Okay, so for those of you following my progress with learning Maya (you'll find a lot of posts over the last week or so ;)), here's the latest question:

After having set up the skeleton and skinned it I find that I want to change the skeleton slightly.

How do I go about that? What I want to do primarily is edit the limit information and add stiffness and dampning information to it as well. Obviously that's not a problem for just one joint, but what if I want to do it to the arms. The obvious choice would be to just mirror the arms over so I don't have to get bogged down in tweaking hell. But that's where I ran into problems last time...

So what's a boy to do?
