Hello out there, i'm working on a very important school project and this is what i have so far. could someone please tell me if there is something wrong with the character? i know her arm is kind of weird looking but please help me by giving out some advice. is her nose too weird too? thank you so much guys!

I am no expert on this type of thing, but it looks too me like her eyes are too small and too far apart. Also, I wouldn't shade the inside of her mouth with black, try dark colors, but not black. The hand looks excellent!

You've done some lovely work.

What do you have going on at the bottom that obscures the elbow?

It's not necessary, but items look better when in 3s than in 2s, unless there is some significance to it. You may want to put some reflection of her head into the bottom of the balloons

Your hand looks nice. You could do a bit more shaping to the arm, but it depends on how much realism and styling you want. The illustration has a bit of manga-look to it.

The hair could be softened a bit and maybe a few more highlights.

Is this an assignment with a goal or something you are doing for, perhaps, an announcement or advertisement? It helps to know the context of what you are doing.
