Hello,
I have a strange problem when I am trying to zoom onto my model from different viewpoints. From one viewpoint, everything is fine (picture one). When I rotate the camera around my object (picture two) and try to zoom in, the zoom won't work. I tried to zoom with my mouse wheel, with alt+rmb, and the zoom icon in the viewport. Nothing helps. The only workaround I found is to use the parallel perspective (before i was using the central perspective). I have never experienced anything like that in Cinema or any other 3D application. I have tried fixing this problem for one and a half hours and I was so frustrated that I have thrown my mouse to the wall. The manual doesn't help either. I hope you can help me.

Try
Edit (on the perspective preview window) > Frame Default to reset the zoom.
or
Don't use the default camera; create a new one with the perspective window selected, assign it and use it to navigate your model.

Zooming in can be limiting at times.
You have more options to get closer.
Example:
On your first image you can select points/polys and
zoom in Edit >>>> "Frame selected elements".

If the grill is a seperate part of the auto, you can
select that in the OM and hit the "O" key shortcut
to zoom in on that area.
