okay im rather new to modelling and such and so as you can imagine after i saw the standard of work on this site it took me a lot of courage to post.

anyway. here are two models i recently rendered. i'd be greatful if u kept in mind that im kinda new and tell me what u think. :)

the models are of an alarm clock, and a small wooden model boat someone got me from malaysia.

nice moddelling. Keep learning, you're beginning is good :)

Try to work on shadows. because of there are no good shadows under the clock. Now it looks like it flies. Trie to use raytrace shadows or refine the bias if you work with shadowmaps. You'll see. it helps a lot if you do that.

and also Photoshop or the Gimp can help a lot if you're not really sathisfed with the shadows in a render and a new render takes to much time.
