This is my first Real complete piece with lightwave. I made everything except for the tree LOL I know its the biggest part in the scene but oh well.. There is still the water, land, foilage, sky that I did. The tree I got from the lightwave folder. I did this back in the beginning of 2002.

I just found out about cgtalk not long ago so decided to show my work. Anyways looking at others work mine is nothing. but here goes.

Everyone starts small and has to get the basics down before they move on, the scene appears well set aesthetically and has good lighting, however the water would look more translucent at the water line also vegitation rarely survives at the waterline and it would be more muddy/sandy there, this is one thing that always makes a landscape image look less realistic.

Good luck and keep it up, I would just recommend a nice consistent and incremental level of difficulty in your projects so you can develop your skills and most importantly have fun.
