Anyone have any feedback about XP? I'm considering going to it, but I want to know if it's all the hype. I've heard that it's extremely intuitive and that gets in the way of being able to do exactly what you want to do, but if it's a lot faster as Microsoft says it is it's worth the hassle of having to reprogram to override all of that. Is Maya even ported for XP? I mean I know it'll probably work, but does it benefit from the OS?:bounce:  :applause:

Well if you are using a geforce2 card of any sort forget about it, your hypershade will crash, guaranteed.

Ive never had a problem with maya crashing with my gforce2. In fact I run two gforce2 mx for dual monitors and maya gets along very well.

As for xp, yeah its good. Ive been using since before it came out without problems. Once you dump the candy coated interface its really pretty much the same as win2k.
