View Full Version : Converting from max to maya

Im not sure which forum this belongs in so ill take a guess and choose this one. I was wondering if theres anyway I can get max to export to maya without the mesh being triangulated. Right now Im using the 3ds Importer from the Alias website, but I cant seem to get my models to be quads. Any help would be much appreciated.

Grab the .OBJ exporter from Habware.

Remember to check the "Rotate Model" checkbox btw :)

Oh it doesn't import pivots properly, keep that in mind. (..if anyone knows how to get around that, feel free to mention it)
