I have a character with 3 hair objects attached to it and whenever I manipulate the geometry or even just move the object interaction is painfully slow. Note that I'm not talking about just rotating the camera around - that's fast. Nor am I even displaying the hair objects. As soon as I delete the hair objects interaction with the geometry is fast again.
Why is XSI so slow even when I'm not even displaying any hair?
I need to find a solution to this cuz there is no way I could animate a character with interaction this slow. The computer I'm running isn't wimpy either.
Are there any tips for speeding things up or disabling the hair all together?
Thanx
