View Full Version : Changing viewport navigation speed?

Hi,

I'm total newbie on Cinema 4D and just downloaded R10 demo some time ago. As it seems otherwise very interesting piece of software I'm little frustrated with the low speed I'm having when navigating in 3d viewport with tablet (especially rotating). Cursor movement is also locked to the edges of your display when using tablet (tablet setting on in cinema's preferences). If you don't quite understand what I'm meaning, this issue has been discussed earlier in great detail in:

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=239675

So is there a known free solution to this problem somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Yes navigating with a tablet is slow in C4D. That's why I only use my tablet for painting in Bodypaint. The rest of time I use a mouse and have no issues with that.

Ok, Thanks for replying you two.

Well I haven't heard about navigation speed settings in other applications either. Sadly cinema 4d seems really slow for me. There really should be such controls in every application nowadays. Would really make graphics much nicer experience for everybody.

I may be an exception, but I find it's fast enough. I have no need for speed as I prefer to see what I do without making it a test for my reaction speed. But then again: I'm not a gamer. And I breathe slowly.
