View Full Version : Maya Cloth help!
Xellos 02-09-2003, 01:26 AM i ran through the documentation and lesson cd and they never do explain how your suposed to do the the curves... there already premade.... i would asumejust make seprate curves like it appears the did in the lesson files.
so i wnr ahead and did just that... when i gop the creat pannel option i get a red bar at the bottom saying "Error: Curves must form a closed loop. Check for unconnected or extra curves"...... whats up with that?

You have to make sure all curves begin exactly where the previous one ends. In other words, they must all touch at their endpoints exactly. You can make sure of this by using Curve Snapping when creating the curves or when moving their CVs.
I remember that this should be enough, but I may be wrong, so if this still does not help, then after you do what I said above, go to Edit Curves/Attach Curves to create a single curve from the several pieces.

thank you... they went touching... and the gap was so small the eye couldn't see it.... ok last thing if I want to make the caller of the shirt and the ends of the selves... ( because they are thicker then the shirt or pants them selves. how do I make them show as the would in real life?
