I am currently trying to setup a light so that it will scale with the size of my character... I am using an anim curve tied together with a light info node to get a decay... and now I am trying to make it scalable (if possible).

So I am entering in an expression and getting an error that I don't quite understand

expression -s "ltShape.intensity = ltShape_intensity.output * ltShape.curScale ^ 2\r" -o lt -n "tst" -ae 1 -uc all ;
// Error: ; //
// Error: Illegal operation "^" on data of type float. //

It means it doesn't know what "^" is.
Try using the pow function instead.

expression -s "ltShape.intensity = ltShape_intensity.output * `pow ltShape.curScale (2\r)`" -o lt -n "tst" -ae 1 -uc all ;
