Just wanted to know if anyone can tell me where the S&T Style presets are with R10 Studio.
The quickstart manual says that they are in the Libary/Sketch/Styles folder in the C4D directory but there is not even a Sketch folder or a let a lone a Styles folder in the Libary folder. Please note that l am not talking about the line presets which can be found via the material manager or the content window.

No there not in there either. They are just normal c4d format files from what the pictures show in the quickstart manual.

They are missing indeed!
I found a Sketch styles directory in the demo of R9, but I'm not sure if that is compatible.
Maybe they should be put up for download by Maxon?

EDIT:

I tried the R9 styles and they work. So if you still have the R9 demo you can use that. BTW there are also Sketch line and shader presets in your contentbrowser.

Presets->Sketch

Hmm, why has the quickstart not be updated then? Is the styles folder removed on purpose?
If you want to use the load styles command you cannot use the contentbrowser can you?

Olli they are only Line presets & Shaders not Style Presets.

Uh-- whats the difference?

seems I don`t actually know what the style presets are-- thought these were the presets available in Lines dialogue--

Olli my understanding is that the difference between the Line Presets & the Style Presets is that the Style Presets are loaded into the Main tab S&T within the Post Effects settings page. So the preset loads up settings for this page as well loading any line materials that were saved with the Style Preset.

As I wrote the R9 sketch styles do still work in R10 so it seems to be a missing folder. Can anyone confirm that the R9 folder is identical to what the R10 folder should be? Maybe this will be on the goodies/tutorial DvD that still has to arrive?

Seems I never used those (because of not knowing), thats why I dont miss them ;-)
