Hey all -
I am new to using max9 and Mental Ray. Up until now, I have been using max8 and Brazil. I am trying to learn MR and have been having some trouble finding lighting that works. I have seen others get some nice results using the MR Sun, but I have not been able to duplicate these effects.
Are there any decent tutorials or tips out there on how to set up lighting for MR? Most of my modeling includes vehicles and motion simulators. I typically use an hdri environment for reflections. Hopefully that's enough info.
