CGTalk - XSI wont start

I downloaded the 30 day trial, installed it fine, but when I start it all that shows is the loading screen and then it just exits right away.
I tried installing it in my brothers computer and everything worked just fine.
I doubt my computer is too slow or anything because I run 3ds Max and Maya just fine. But maybe theres something about my computer preventing me from running it?

Any help would be nice. thanks

Possible issues.

Firewall. Disable all software firewalls and Norton Internet inSecuity Suite crapola.
You used a registry cleaner. Don't. If you didn't... don't still.

Firewall and security software are usually not a problem with the trial. The trial (which is Foundation) uses a different licensing scheme (no dongles, no SPM). Foundation should not care at all if ports are blocked.

You can also try one or both of the following:

- Open an XSI command prompt and run the runonce.bat command.

- Reinstall your graphics card driver.
