i have noticed that when u unwrap the face model to paint textures using cylindrical unwrapping..
the flattern unwrap not show the faces of the uv totally projected or flatten .... the area on the either side of the nose also around the nostrils, lips are not not flatten nicely infact they ovelap eachother becuase there is mesh under the nose also inside the mouth aroung the lips...
so how to get rid of this problem..:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

UV maps are NEVER perfect when they have just been made. They all require editing to a certain degree. All you need to do is edit your UV map to eliminate overlapping polys and stretching.

oh thanks leigh.. so only waay is that u flatten the uvs again manually...

how about texturing nose & lips sperately
