I just downloaded ROBOBLITZ from Steam! I think its first Unreal Ed 3 and before Gears. Its got amazing physics capabilities. I have been waiting for this game for sometime now and it was totally worth the wait. Why can't all games be $15? Also, it takes about 20 mins to download cause its 180MBs. I guess its 180MB cause of next gen compression and procedural textures. For $15 you get a lot. The game can also be downloaded from their website RoboBlitz.com.
I heard it will be available for 360 in 2 weeks. Oh yea it comes with an editor too, can't wait to start using that.
I have a nvidia 6800 gt and it runs fine! Has anyone else played this game?
Um, Tree, when posting something like this you probably shouldnt pretend that youre "just a person" who happened to find a game they like. You must have forgotten that you have the company's name in your ID.
Also, not quite sure this belongs here.
I'm sorry but this is funny, good job with the creative advertising :D hahaha...
Also Gears of War came out today.

Too funny. Now this post is an instant classic.
Lucky I wasn't drinking something when I read that 1st response or I might have had to clean my monitor.
Mmm..I'll wait to read a few more reviews....:D

Uh, that's kinda weak right there man.
LOL
So now do you feel like a shill for posting essentially an ad but making it sound like news?
Eh... let's not resort to name calling, at least it was good for some laughs :p.
It's getting fairly impresive reviews though, an 8.0 overall and a 9.0 for graphics by IGN...

So congrats to the people that worked on it even if you do have a strange way of advertising :D.

A couple of days ago I found a mention of this game on Allegorithmic's website -- most of the textures in this game were generated procedurally using their technology:

i don't really care if it gets 10/10 reviews, it's not news but a blantant form of advertising :)

Hey EP!
Have been offered any cash yet to remove your quote?
I'm still getting a chuckle everytime I see this thread...

No, no one's offered me cash for anything... I realy wouldnt expect them to. I doubt posting 1 failed thread at CG talk is going to effect their internet download counts. I feel sort of bad for it, but then again, I hate invasive internet forum advertisements, so im sort of torn on the idea of removing it, because people do seem to find so darn funny.

Coming back to this a few months later, I've got to say it's worth the 15 bucks just to get your hands on the Unreal Engine 3 editor. I hear the game is not too shabby either, as far as indie games go. It got a pretty decent metacritic score :)

I wasn't gonna buy it before, but now I just can't keep the money from coming out of my pocket!
