Title: Electric Guitar
Name: Simon Joyce
Country: United Kingdom
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

This is a model of my own guitar. Its a left handed Westfield.
It's the first model i've made whilst having the actual item in front of me which, i have to say, i found a lot better than working from photograph's.
I was going to make a tank next, but my room's not big enough :)

It was built using 3D max and the texture were made/adapted using Photoshop

Hi,

I also did a stratocaster a long time ago. Your model looks fine but the neck looks too thin (or is it the view that makes it look too thin?) You should also try to put it into an environmment and to work out some highlights on the black surface to really make the image stand out.

Keep up the good work.

Looks good, though the tremolo looks a bit sharp from this angle. :)

@spetzialista, thank you

@petz, thanks. I think it's just the camera angle. The neck is thicker than it looks. i used an HDRI for the environment, but for some reason it looked better in the test renders

@Sollesnes, yeah i reckon it is a bit too pointy ....

@Buckie, backwards ? which bit ? :shrug: :D
