I haven't finished it right now.. I have to add more shadows, do the hair, eyes, ears.. etc.. etc.

This was done for an Assignment for College and the object was to get a real photo and make it as realistic as possible using an illustration program like Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel Draw.

I chose Photoshop and traced the features and the built up on the colors using heaps and heaps of layers.

oh yeah don't look at the hair, ears and eyebrows I have there as there are just temp placements.

thats pretty good for a start hope to see the finshed redult soon its looking pretty good.

Is it supposed to be photo realistic or just iluustration.
As a cartoon i think it looks pretty good but there seems to be like a few styles going on in there.
Like you seem to use cell shading for the shirt and doging and burning for the face it looks kinda strange.

By the way whos the photo of?

He looks kinda scary

oh soory i forgot to mention you seem to need a little bit more dfenition around where your nose and eyes are its jussst big shadows at the monent you need a bit more detail.
