View Full Version : Sugestions, Low Poly girl
Hey everyone,
I'm working on this girl here and I have some time and polys left to spare before deadline to refine her. She's currently 5300 polys and I can go up to 7000.
Any sugestions on what to fix or improve?

Her torso needs very little work, Except for elongation.
Her legs are far too long for her build.
The pelvis is mis-shapen (too bulky) to the point where her jeans look like they are damaging internal organs.
as for things to change.
Try smooting out the geometry on her jeans, it is too angular to be seen as cloth. And if you have a bonus couple thousand polys... make the hair a bit softer.
The shirts specualrity is the same as her skin and jeans.
and try thickening her stomach a bit.
Top quality on the facial texturing/ modeling. you have a good base but your not done yet :-)
and maybe spend more time on the little things like giving her more detailed geometry in the palm of her hand.
otherwise good start.

I'd give priority to the face, chest and pelvis, and hair. Since altering proportions shouldn't create more poly's you'd still have a couple 1000's to put where people look the most. I believe sex-appeal still works...

That's pretty damn much for low poly. I would say smooth hair, and as said, wrinkles too angular. The face looks great! Sorry for lack of really nitpicky crits, I'm tired, and not thinking my best.
Thanx for the pointers Injisan, lacaci, and lerpiedood...I'm all over those wrinkles on the pants and I'll get to the face real soon, the hair too. I'll be posting my progress. soon Any other suggestions?
no real comments, just wanna say somehow i really like the way u modeled her chest area ( meaning that in a non "sexual" way!! )
Well here's some realtime images of some of the fixes I've done...I smoothed the hair some and changed the face a bit. The pants have also smoother wrinkles. Anymore suggestions or comments?
