This is an image I did some time ago. Buildings so big that if hit by an airplane, it would be not have much more impact than being hit by a mosquito...

Done in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.

Woa...must have been a very tough work, congrats!

Cool mood on it...somehow it reminds me of Zanarkand (Final Fantasy X) but by day ^^

Great pic'

Whoa.... that's a lot of detail! Nice work.

If you wanted a crit, the only one I can think of is that for the lighting, the shadows are a bit too light (it looks like it's sunset with the position of the sun). Also, the light source looks like it's on the right hand side of the pic (as the sky lightens in that area), but the shadows are angled as though the sun is at the left. For example in detail 3, the shadow on the buildings in the lower right corner (in detail 1 and 4 it seems right though...)

Very nice pic though :bounce:

I've been search around here for some fantasy type environment concepts. This is great, cool concept. How much time did you spend on this and did you start in photoshop or on paper? I wish it was a little bigger though.

WOW... brought up from the murky depths...

The picture took sometime - maybe 25, 30 hours - and was done from start to finish in Photoshop, initial drawings and layout to final picture.
