This is my take on the new Audi R8. Seeing it recently posted here I thougt I should upload it too.

It's for a short Product Presentation I'm doing for a project at the S.A.E. Institue.
It was modeled in Cinema 4D with some post work in Photoshop.
I know there are a few things that need to be worked over, i.e. the front lights, which aren't the originals. But for now I'm quite satisfied.

Why did you take Gallardo rims?

Because I like them ;)... more than the original ones, they give the car a much stronger appearance. I saw them once on a picture with the Audi R8 and well I thought they look great.

Great model! im currently modelling this, but the road version not the Le Mans. I like the Lambo wheels, it gives it a strong look.
Any chance of a couple of wireframe views?

I'm also pretty sure that I read that the R8 is built on the Gallardo platform.

looks like a very nice model but the render is too dark esp on the sides
it mkes it hard to see the air intake ect
