Hey, i love the model and the animation, but the ant does a strange thing with the eyes right before it stops and stare at the cam happily, at the 10th second to be precise,the eye lids go way up, that means the ant is either shocked or surprised ,it looks odd because it's not justified; other than that i would love to see more animation, the model looks great

Hey! Nice try, eventhough you delete your old thread and re-edit the piece.
I didn't see a problem with your old piece, since it was an animation too, people with different aspect should be able to post their stuffs and recieve comments from people who're willing to help, if the piece does not offend sensitive issue such as religion. I found your old piece quite (stupid) funny and entertaining, and if people has exposed themself to more varieties of media, they'd understand that there's nothing too extreme in your old piece.

If you haven't read my reply before you deleted it, I'd like to say it again... there're countable amount of pops in the character's facial expression... and then when the character comes to a stop (at the 10th second) everything looks so stiffs, I'd say too still, people who believes in western animation knowledge would suggest you add some more follow-through animation, even myself who's not a big fan of cartoony style still think adding more animation around that part would help a lot. And since you cut a chunk off your piece, you should consider making an ending or conclusion for this newly edited one.

If you plan to redo the old piece, I'd say the stabbing part is too annoying, the pose and animation are not strong enough, didn't relly feel like it is stabbing, feel more like scratching the skin. In my understanding, you tried to match the speed of your stabs to the heavy music, not a bad idea, but it doesn't have to match the beat of the music itself, strong poses and slower stab (fast during the stab and hold the knife at the wound for around 18-24 frames before pulling it out and stab again) would help giving viewer more creepy feeling and would make your character more psychotic.

The lighting and render is kinda nice, good job, but for the old one, I think switching the lighting between the normal and abnormal phase may make it more interesting. (I'd say black BG with redish ambient light... may be)

And the wound is too real, doesn't match with the cartoony character at all, you can make it less realistic and you'll find with matching style/atmoshere, cartoony style can give people some creep too.

Keep polishing your work and post one with decent animation, then you may find it funny to see lots of people keep changing their POV from technical aspect to somethin' else. I don't know and wouldn't like to know their personal MORAL/ETHIC aspect, but for me your piece wasn't offensive or immoral at all.

thank you. but I didnt erased my old animation. I suppose the ant erased himself coz he was so sorry when I see him last. any way I read your ast replay also. thanks.
