I made this picture for a colective art show about the 2 of November. Its a mexican holiday known as "Day of the Dead", mostly a time of reflexion and remebrance of the fragility of life itself.

Death wields in her skin the tapestry of history.
I use Photoshop to do the complete rendering. The texture came from a 1312 latin bible and the film from an old scan.
