Hello.
I am just trying to get my feet wet in VFX and CG, so I don't know a whole lot. First, I'll tell you what I've got so it'll be easier for you to answer my questions.
I've Got:
LightWave 3D
3D Equalizer
Adobe After Effects
Icarus
(I am about to get Photoshop)
Sooooo, here are my questions:
What kind of information do I need to get while filming, and how do I get it?
What is a good camera that will work well for combining CG? (I was thinking the Panasonic AG-DVX100)
How do you turn something in a picture into a 3D model (In LW)? (Like in this: http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6342)
How can I extend a city, such as the clip in this demo reel? (http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7060)
Do I really need Shake?
