Hello fellow c4d artists.

I am working on a project on my new Cinema 4D R10, and a strange issue has turned up:

when I select something, either in object mode or point/poly mode, the object (or sometimes any random object other than the active one) changes position!!

Seems only polygon objects are concerned.

Looks like a bug, since it has never happened to me since R5.

I am on Mac Pro Quad 3Ghz, ATI XT1900, 4 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.7 and I am using Cinema 4D R 10 UB

Am I missing something or does it happen to anyone else?

Thanks in advance

regards
chris

Are you sure you don't have the Transfer Objects tool selected and clicked somewhere in the viewport?

thanks for the reply Jorge.

No I have the Select Tool activated, no Transfer Tool.

No problems for me. I've had it for approx 6 weeks and it's been running very well.

You might want to check your snapping settings ("p" key) to make sure some form of snapping's not engaged that you don't want and might be getting actuated when you're selecting objects/polys.

Sure you haven't accidentally set some keyframes?

Hello again

thank you all for helping! And you did!

I guess it was the following:

I have Axis Center activated as a tab, so it was always active, and had Auto Update on.
Now, I had Action set to "Object to".... I guess that was the culprit.

Thanks and have a very nice weekend.

kind regards
chris
