I have seen a lot of rigs where they address the upper arm and leg twist in the IK mode, but I haven't encounter rigs where you will have auto twist also in the FK mode. Is there any reason for this? I know how to set up the auto twist in FK using Expose TM, but I am just wondering the reason behing it.

On one note: Most of the animator I work with request IK/FK rig, but when I go and check their animator to export point cache.... they never use the FK mode... strange....

all my rigs have twist on fk and ik - most use a blended system so the twist is driven by the skinning bones - which are constrainted to the fk and ik

My rig uses twisting bones on all limbs in IK and FK modes. I use lookat constraints on the twisting bones that are affected by objects that blend with the IK and FK modes.
