View Full Version : how to do matrix bullet trail

does anyone have any idea how to create the matrix style bullet trail. I think it can be done using raytrace, ubt I want it to be render fast. thank.

Disable the raytrace's AA for test renders.

Try thinwall refraction.(Probably won't do it for ya, though)

Render out the animation and set it as your enviroment background, THEN raytrace the trail against that.

Just some ideas.

How about animating it ? I plan to show the whole trail from the shooter to the target. I am still thinking of way to avoid using raytrace. I remember there was a tutorial on Internet abouth this, but failed to allocate it now.
