CGTalk - How can i do hair

ok lets start off by saying sorry if this offends any of your becuase it seems stupid to you. now i have been looking now really good tutes on hair anywhere. i am looking for a kind of final fantasy type they use in the cinmatics.

if anyone could point me in the direction of a tute or a plugin or briefly explain the process i would be very thankful.

you have max8, and the documentation? max8 hair is all you need, and there's lots of tutorials and descriptions in the reference showing you what button does what. check it out! :)
