Hello... This is my first post here on CGTalk

The image was a redo of one that I originally did in CorelDRAW about 10 years ago. I wanted to recrete a bitmap version... and here it is. Done in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.

There is no photographic or 3D material in the picture. I have a tutorial on how I did the wood grain on my website. http://www.eyewoo.com/show2/tut_03/index.html

eyewoo welcome to cgtalk and I sure do hope you keep posting here :) This is absolutely beautifull. The only problem I have with it is the wine. Wine is not so bright and more transperent. This looks more like red paint.

But it is a great piece. Very well done :thumbsup:

Hey... Thanks for the welcome.

Regarding the wine color... I was trying to keep it a bit ambiguous... i.e. is it wine or is it blood... :surprised

I added some detail links below the above picture. They show the 2D nature of the images a bit better. :thumbsup:

Lol I first thought it was a 3D render but then I realised I was in the 2D forums :D
