View Full Version : Any good sources for Mo caps out there?
Gregwid 02-07-2003, 12:51 PM Hello everyone.:wavey:
I am just getting into animating some of my characters.I just got Character Studio for Max 5. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to where I might find some free downloads of some motion captures in "BIP" format please? Or at least some good but relatively cheap ones( I spent too much already on CS itself.;)
Thanks for any advice or help if possible,it is greatly appreaciated.
:)

Here is a great source of mocap files - great reference for learning about motion:
http://www.e-motek.com/entertainment/index.htm
(go to stockmoves) - you will have to register to get access, but it should have a format that loads up for CS no problem.
Hope it helps.

Hey a reply.................I have been found lost at sea finally.Big Thanks "Lost Pencil".
I'll be digging into those animations right now.By the way I like your site, great for everyone to visit, but extra great for a beginning animator like my self.
"Just Animate - Walk Cycles for 3ds Max" looks cool.I think I'll be going for it.I need to advance sometime in animation, that will be a good beginning. Thanks for everything.
